Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Leak Check Me collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use leakcheckme.com, the Leak Link Check, reports, dashboards, support channels, checkout flow, scrub authorization flow, and MyPrivacyAgent Patrol features. Contact support@leakcheckme.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide to run a Leak Link Check and manage your account, including name, email address, phone number, city, state, optional previous location, verification answers, scrub authorization choices, support messages, and account settings. We also store scan state, known leak exposure counts, public identity-link findings, eligible scrub items, provider status, proof records, reports, patrol activity, checkout state, subscription state, refund or chargeback state, and abuse-prevention metadata.
We may collect technical and usage data such as IP address, device and browser type, referring page, UTM parameters, timestamps, page views, conversion events, cookie or local-storage identifiers, session state, error logs, and security events. We use this data to operate the site, measure product performance, prevent abuse, and understand which launch channels are working.
Information From Third Parties
Leak Check Me may receive information from third-party services that help provide the product, including hosted authentication, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, hosting, database, security, public web search, breach-exposure reference, and data-broker or public-record sources. Third-party data may include payment status, account identifiers, email delivery status, analytics events, public profile URLs, broker listing details, evidence links, and confirmation or rejection status for authorized opt-out requests.
How We Use Information
We use personal information to verify identity ownership, run scans, match known leak exposure to public identity links, show reports, prepare eligible opt-out or removal workflows, submit authorized provider requests, verify progress, monitor reappearances, provide MyPrivacyAgent Patrol reports, process payments, send verification and support messages, personalize the dashboard, debug failures, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, comply with legal obligations, and improve product reliability.
How We Share Information
We share information with service providers that process data for Leak Check Me, such as hosting, database, authentication, payment, email, analytics, error monitoring, security, and customer-support providers. We share only what is needed for the provider to perform the service. We may also share information when required to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, complete a business transfer, or enforce our Terms of Service.
When you authorize a scrub or opt-out mission, Leak Check Me may send the information required by the destination site, broker, or provider to process that request. That may include your name, contact details, location, profile URL, proof details, or other information the provider requires. Leak Check Me does not sell personal information.
AI, Analytics, And Ads
Leak Check Me does not send raw names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, relatives, profile URLs, screenshots, or private findings to ad platforms. Third-party analytics is limited to public marketing pages, and analytics and ad events are metadata-only where enabled. LLM-backed broker matching is disabled by default because it may require a name, location, visible profile fields, and page imagery. It may be enabled only after explicit privacy and consent review; when enabled, that information is shared only with the configured browser-agent provider to perform the requested broker check. Optional AI-assisted summaries use sanitized structured counts, categories, and workflow statuses only.
Payments
Payments are handled through Stripe-hosted Checkout and related Stripe services. Leak Check Me does not collect or store card numbers in its own UI. Stripe may process payment method details, billing details, tax information, invoices, subscriptions, refunds, disputes, fraud signals, and chargeback data under Stripe's own terms and privacy notices.
Retention And Deletion
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide Leak Check Me, maintain scan and scrub history, support active patrols, comply with legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion of scan data or account data through the product where available or by contacting support@leakcheckme.com.
Deleting Leak Check Me data does not reverse opt-out or removal requests already sent to third parties, does not control records kept by third-party providers, and does not remove leaked databases or dark web copies that Leak Check Me does not control. Leak Check Me does not remove leaked databases.
Your Privacy Choices
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by contacting support@leakcheckme.com. You may unsubscribe from non-transactional emails using the link in those messages where available. You may control cookies and similar technologies through browser settings, but disabling them may affect verification, checkout, analytics, attribution, or dashboard functionality.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state, federal, or international law. Leak Check Me will review verified requests and respond as required by applicable law. Leak Check Me does not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights.
Security
Leak Check Me uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, hosted infrastructure, role-limited provider access, and data-minimization practices for analytics and ads. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use strong account credentials and contact support@leakcheckme.com if you believe your account or report has been accessed without authorization.
International Processing
Leak Check Me and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. By using Leak Check Me, you understand that your information may be processed in locations with privacy laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Leak Check Me is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information to Leak Check Me, contact support@leakcheckme.com so we can review and delete it where required.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the product, providers, law, or operating practices. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of Leak Check Me after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
