Gotchas
- The request asks for your SSN and date of birth. That is normal for this portal, but never provide them on a look-alike domain.
- Suppression removes you from LexisNexis marketing and some public-records products, not from regulated consumer reports (those follow FCRA dispute rules).
- Some reasons require a notarized form or a police report; gather documents before you start.
- Deletion can take a full month and there is no self-service status page.
