Which sites should I remove myself from first?
Start with the sites that appear when you search your own name: Spokeo, Whitepages, BeenVerified, TruePeopleSearch, FastPeopleSearch, and Radaris. Those are the listings friends, recruiters, and strangers actually find.
Does opting out remove my information from the internet?
No. It removes the copy on that broker's site. Public records, social profiles, and other brokers keep their own copies, and most people-search sites re-list you after new data pulls. Plan on repeating the big ones every few months.
